From opportunity to 360 MW

Electricity generation projects – Iraq

From opportunity to 360 MW

Overview

Gagranda’s experience in the electricity generation sector in Iraq is a practical model of the company’s way of working.

Gagranda created the opportunity, developed it, and invited Hyundai Heavy Industries to participate with its engineering and technological expertise and capabilities. Gagranda took part in managing the project with the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity, and assigned sister companies to execute packages of civil, electrical and mechanical works under the supervision of Hyundai Heavy Industries.

Result

The opportunity was transformed into electricity generation plants with a total capacity of 360 MW.

This is not merely a story of execution.

It is the Gagranda model on the ground.

We created the opportunity.

We opened the market.

We attracted global capability.

We took part in managing the project.

We mobilized local capabilities.

And we contributed to turning the opportunity into real productive capacity.
